How progress works
Every finished match, race, round or puzzle earns XP. XP fills one level that is shared by every game on this site, and levels carry titles: Apprentice, Journeyman, Artisan, Master, Grandmaster and, at level 50, Magestican Legend.
- Badges are milestones in a single game or across several, from a first win to a hundred of them. Locked badges are shown on purpose: a locked badge is the map of what is left to do. Each one says how hard we think it is, never how many players have it, because we do not collect that.
- Trophies are the big ones: reaching levels 5, 10, 20, 35 and 50, playing every game at least once (the Grand Tour), a first rated win against another person, and reaching a rating of 1400, 1600 and 1800.
- Ratings move only in online matches against other people, never against bots. Everybody starts at 1200. Ratings are kept on this device for now.
- Streaks count the days in a row you play anything at all, and a rest day now and then will not break one.
Keeping it on every device
Progress lives in this browser until you choose otherwise. Sign in with Google or an email address in the panel above and your level, badges and streak follow you to your phone and back. You can erase everything, on this device and in your account, at any time; the privacy page says exactly what is stored.
